Money Plant Golden – Epipremnum aureum<\/span><\/h3>\n

A darling of home gardeners everywhere, the Money Plant Golden is famous for its never give up attitude. This plant can survive neglect and adapt to almost all growing conditions to fill your space with a trailing growth of bright green coloured foliage in no time. Light Requirements :<\/span>The Money Plant requires bright and indirect or dappled natural sunlight. Bright light boosts the growth of this no-fuss houseplant. Direct harsh sunlight can harm your Money Plant. Indoors, money plant can also grow in full shade. Low to medium light sometimes leads to beautiful variegations on the leaves.<\/span><\/p>\n

Locations :<\/span>Money Plants grow best in warm spots with indirect sunlight so pick a location accordingly. You can keep your money plant indoors in your living room or kitchen or even on your study table!<\/span><\/p>\n

Styling\/decor tip :<\/span>The money plant instantly livens up any space by adding a splash of beautiful green colour. Let it climb on walls, trail from shelves, or simply cover your window grills to lend your room a tropical feels. You can also grow it in empty glass bottles and place it in compact spaces like bathroom windowsill or kitchen counters to make the space greener. Plant Essentials<\/span><\/h4>\n

Fertilizer\/ feed for the plant:<\/span>Feed your money plant with organic fertilisers once a month in winters and every two weeks from spring to summer. Also use a well rotten cow dung manure at the time of potting and repotting the plant.<\/span><\/p>\n

Repotting :\u00a0<\/span>Once your Money Plant is growing well and thriving, repot it in a slightly larger pot when it becomes root bound and the growth slows down.<\/span><\/p>\n

Propogation :\u00a0<\/span>Money plant is one of the easiest plants to be propagated and it can be done through stem cuttings. Simply cut the stem ensuring that there is at least one root node in each cutting, either root the cutting in water or plant it directly in soil ensuring that the root node is inside the growing medium.<\/span><\/p>\n

1. Money Plant leaves turning yellow?<\/span><\/p>\n

Too much of direct sunlight or over-watering can lead to yellowing of leaves. They prefer bright to medium indirect light.<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Why are Pothos leaves turning brown?<\/span><\/p>\n

Browning of leaves is caused by a variety of reasons like over-watering, too much light, or in worst case, it is caused by a root rot.<\/span><\/p>\n

3. Why are Money Plant leaves yellowing and wilting?<\/span><\/p>\n

Overwatering and poor drainage of the pot leads to yellowing and wilting of leaves. Adjust your watering schedule and use a well-drained pot to avoid leaves from dying.<\/span><\/p>\n

Potting Mix<\/span><\/h4>\n

It is a highly enriched soil-less mix that ensures optimum growth and protects the plants from pest infestations.<\/span><\/p>\n

We put a slow release Fertilizer which gives nutrients to the plants every time it is watered for 6 months.<\/span><\/p>\n

Self-Watering Pot<\/span><\/h4>\n

Excess water gets stored in the reservoir below, the roots then absorbs water via capillary action and the plants get water as and when required.<\/span><\/p>\n
